TechKnow: How do you plan on measuring your progress with the tDCS headset?
Erica: So I’m using a brain training game called Dual N-Back. So far I’ve tracked my progress with the game without using the tDCS, and I plan to use tDCS, and then practice the game and see how far I can get.
TechKnow: Are you going to record this information? Do you plan on making it available to other people?
Erica: I plan to track the amount of time I’m spending using tDCS and how well I’m performing in the game to see what is correlated.
Dear Sirs/Madam
I have treatment resistant depression since age 15 and am now 55. I have tried everything. Since 1995 I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis and stemming from that in the last 2-3 years have developed illnesses that one ususally gets with I.C., fibromyalgia, irritable bowel, ashma… My doctor was arrested a couple of years ago and although I had nothing to do with that I wa immediatly dubbed a drug abuser and have found it almost impossible to obtain much needed narcotic pain medication. I have constant suicidal ideation and cannot see myself living and continuing to try to improve or have any quality of life for more than say a couple months. I did not even read a lot of the information contained here but the program I saw on Al Jaeera was informative. I don’t hold a lot of hope for getting any help with my depressionn but getting help with my pain issues would go far in improving my quality of life, allow me to get some sleep (uninyerupted every hour) and as a resolt of the prior likely at lest have some improvement of my dipression.
I am very intersted in trying this diy experiment, I see there are several different types and would like your input as to which would be best for me.
